What have I been doing for the last 25 years?
With a daily dose of humor and a passion for adventure, I have navigated various working worlds, from royal palaces, contemporary art institutions, historic houses, archives, and universities, always with the aim of offering a service of excellence. With a magnifying glass in my hand and a smile on my face, I've juggled between conservation, research, data management, or digital project coordinator, all with the aim of leaving a memorable mark in each place I've been lucky enough to contribute.

As an external consultant, I successfully expanded the customer base globally, including Europe, the United Kingdom, Latin America, India, and Israel. I led sales efforts, software implementations, and provided comprehensive support, including technical assistance. I also conducted user training sessions and offered consulting on records, workflows, data standards, and management. Additionally, I was responsible for translating the software into Catalan and Spanish, ensuring a seamless localization for users.

I supervised the cataloging and digitization of 3,700 architectural drawings at the Vizcaya Museum in record time. With a team of photographers, we created a structure for capturing photos of drawings up to 12 meters long. I managed the relocation of the files, established collaborations, developed a database, and initiated an internship program with the University of Miami. I also contributed to social media efforts and played a key role in the museum's new website design.
October 2004- May 2008
I successfully led a project funded with $1.5 million by the Mellon Foundation to digitize analog material in the fields of Art, Art History, and Architecture. I managed content selection, metadata creation, and standardized image digitization. I also led teams, addressed technological needs in classrooms, and promoted active use of ARTstor in education and research. I collaborated with ARTstor on usability enhancements and long-term educational strategies with various departments.

I led the restructuring and implementation of the Board Manual, overseeing the Provenance Project of the Nazi Era with precise research in 25 cases. I also directed the photography project for the 18th-century Asolo Theater and ensured compliance with the standards of the American Association of Museums. I promoted the museum through media appearances, including television and radio interviews, and coordinated significant local and international visits.

Curiosities
The Variable Media Initiative of the Guggenheim Museum, launched in 2001, addresses the challenges related to the preservation, exhibition, and conservation of digital and technological artworks, recognizing their uniqueness compared to traditional forms of art.
I had the opportunity to work as a researcher for Mark Napier in the year 2001 while I was at the Guggenheim Museum. His project, an artwork for the Internet, was one of the first commissioned net art pieces by a museum and remains relevant to this day.
